The Fabrication Shop designed and built three contraptions for YouTuber Nick DiGiovanni to train his rat to make a delicious plate of Ratatouille. The Shop also transformed Nick’s kitchen into the kitchen from Pixar’s Ratatouille.

The Fabrication Shop Built and Installed twelve triangle towers from batten and 4×4 in order to form a gallery wall for The Liana Collective’s exhibit highlighting the coca plants significance in native South American life and heritage as well as it’s stigmatization due to its association with cocaine. The gallery installation was on site at the United Nations Building for one week in November 2024.

The Fabrication Shop built The Billie Holiday Theatre’s set for Fabulation which incorporates many moving elements including five sliding window panels, three cleat-hung window frames and two discreet doors meant to blend in with their brick facade frames. The Shop is also able to provide FDNY C-15 certification for theater builds that require one.

The Fabrication Shop was tasked with spicing up a kitchen studio set for Nick DiGiovanni’s cooking video with Hot Ones host, Sean Evans.

Inflatable toilet fabrication for SNL’s Film Unit. The Fabrication Shop built two matching toilets from vinyl fabric and air mattress materials in a period of sixteen hours to be ready for the shoot by call time.

The Fabrication Shop built a hat mimicking the solar system for the Netflix show “Brainchild.” The shop crafted 8 independently moving planets that rotate around the head of the person wearing the hat which represents our gaseous sun. Much attention was paid to the details for each planet while keeping the illusion that it could have been made by a child.

The Fabrication Shop built a bed with the outline of a young person cut out for a sinking effect. The bed was rigged underneath with slats to support the wait of an actor while it is being lowered and raised by two grips off camera. This was a custom fabrication for the Netflix show “Brainchild”

The Fabrication Shop built custom rolling stands for The Endless Editions’ 3 Risograph printing machines. These stands have 2 sets of sliding drawer rails which house the Risograph’s large ink drums.

The Fabrication Shop emulated the marks left by beavers on a tree trunk for the Bravo television series Odd Mom Out. The custom prop fabrication was for a diorama set at the New York Museum of Natural History.
